Stephanie Conrad, Artist As a self-taught artist, I have been exploring my creative side since before I can remember. My parents tell me stories of my coloring on the walls and floors and building towers with elmer's glue and anything I could get my hands as a child. Now, at 26, I consider myself incredibly lucky to be able to pursue my passion as a career. While I truly enjoy painting for a living, running a business that allows me to give back to my community and spend time working with so many fantastic animal welfare organizations has been incredibly humbling and has made a huge impact in my personal life as well. I share my home with four fabulous rescue pets; Cody (Dachshund/Shih Tzu/Scottie mix), Holly (Stafforshire Terrier/Dalmatian mix), Jazz and Izze (Domestic Longhaired Kitties). In addition to my own pets, we do have a rather constant stream of foster pets coming in and out of our lives while they are recovering from an illness or just need a place to stay while they wait for their forever home! With my artwork, not only can I pay the bills, but I am able to educate on responsible pet ownership, showcase animals for adoption and raise money for reputable animal charities through The Pet Studio's Rescue Fund program, which in the first year has raised over $3000 for charities across the country! The Pet Studio has become so much more than just a job and I owe it to my family, friends, fans and clients that have shown so much support over the last couple of years!
